Museum of the Macedonian Struggle is specialized museum with a goal to originally present the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of Macedonia and the Macedonian people in their centuries-long struggle for forming their own national state on the Balkans.
The museum opened its doors on September 08, 2011, when the Macedonian citizens celebrated the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Macedonia. The Declaration of Independence of Republic of Macedonia has central position in the museum hall. It was placed on the day of the museum opening Since then, the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle is one of the most visited institution in Skopje with over 100.000 visitors, foreign official delegation, diplomats and other public figures. In other words, The Museum of the Macedonian Struggle is becoming the guest room of Macedonia.
Working hours: Tuesday-Sunday 10.00-18.00 closed on Monday
