Cultural and Information Center Bitola, abbreviated KIC Bitola, is a public municipal institution in the field of culture and art.
The institution is the basis for realizing the local interest in culture of local importance for the citizens of the Municipality of Bitola as a unit of local self-government, in the field of publishing activity, music activity, stage-art activity, film activity, gallery activity, the activity of the houses of culture and the activity of mediation in culture.
The main activity of the Institution is: Activity of facilities for cultural events, which includes activities of concert and theater halls and other cultural facilities. JOU Cultural and Information Center Bitola has two exceptional facilities, namely buildings of Officer’s Home and Manaki Cinema.
Both buildings are a landmark of the city of cultural and historical importance, especially the magnificent Officer's House, which is a protected cultural heritage of particular importance.
In the past two years, this young institution has become recognizable for numerous classical music concerts, film screenings, domestic and international art exhibitions, promotions, as well as numerous cultural and educational events of a public nature.
The number of over a thousand cultural and other events for that period speaks for itself.
Since this year, KIC Bitola has formally included tourism in its operations and is preparing for the tourist promotion of the Manaki Cinema and the Officers' Home and the cultural events that take place there as part of the local tourist offer.
