From July 25 - August 25, the dialogue-exhibition of caricatures "2KAC" by Grigori Katz and Ilya Katz, an artists from Israel, will be presented in the Osten Gallery, that is locates in the  very center of Skopje. The opening of the exhibition is on July 25, 2023 at 8:30 p.m.

This exhibition is part of the announced events of the upcoming 55th World Cartoon Gallery Skopje 2023.

The concept of the exhibition “2Katz” is binocularity - two visions on the same topic, two expressions of two artists, an older one and a young one, a father and a son. Their works are presented in thematic pairs, giving each time a dramatic conflict to the whole. Visitors can admire the works through “binocular spectacles”.

Father Grigori Katz and son Ilya were born in Kyrgyzstan, respectively in 1948 and 1972. The two artists are now living in Israel since 1992.

Grigori is working as an architect, cartoonist, and illustrator. Since 2008 he began participating in international cartoon exhibitions and competitions and won more than 60 prizes in international cartoon competitions.

Ilya is a cartoonist, painter, and designer. He began participating in international cartoon exhibitions and competitions in 2006 and won more than 100 prizes in the international cartoon competitions.
